My two great interests are Art and Music. I am self taught, and enjoy paintings that have rich vibrant colours, and exude a feeling of well being and uplift the spirit. I have exhibited and sold paintings at the Lilley Gallery and at the museum in Lochwinnoch. I have paintings in Canada, USA, Ireland, as well as Scotland.

Tranquility

In the mid sixties I was part of the burgeoning Scottish Rock scene, playing mainly in Glasgow and Paisley at the Watermill, and the Burns Howff, in the following bands The Trakkers, The Shard, The Jack Anderson Band in the Locarno along side Joe Egan, who later went on to form STEALERS WHEEL with Gerry Rafferty. One of my highlights was as stand in keyboard player with the legendary Stone the Crows over one weekend. Another was appearing at Paisley Ice Rink alongside The Who, The Small Faces, and The Free. Another memorable occasion was playing at Morcambe Floral Halls during the Glasgow Fair withThe Trakkers, playing along side such notables as Manfred Mann and The Big Three from Liverpool. I still keep in touch with one member of my old band Lennox Horn from The House Of Lords. He recently stayed with me here in the village after attending the Frankie Miller Tribute concert in The Barrowland.
