The Dirty 3 Dozen - Day Trip to Loch Katrine

It all started a few years ago, twelve respectable people on a quiet and well organised day out. Several years later the numbers have swelled to a staggering 36.

The days itinerary consisted of:

8.00 am bus pickup at the Howwood Inn, and then on to Loch Katrine, taking in some of Scotland's most breathtaking scenery en route. We boarded the Sir Walter Scott, and had a very enjoyable sail. It was then on to the Covenanters Inn (Inchrie Castle) for a bit of lunch, and then onto Stirling to check out and research some of the local hostelries, and then home for 9.00pm.

A fantastic day out, and a big thank-you to Russell, Anne and Fraser for their excellent organisational skills, and for making the day so enjoyable.
